WESTMINSTER, Md. - Senior Quinn Dietsche posted a win at No. 2 singles to lead the McDaniel College men's tennis team in a 6-1 loss to Susquehanna Saturday at the Warfield Tennis Courts.
Dietsche defeated Thomas Hallahan in straight sets, 6-3, 6-3.
Dietsche partnered with senior Parth Shah at No. 2 doubles, falling to Owen Miller and Daniel Murphy, 6-0. Shah lost to Miller at No. 3 singles, 6-1, 6-1.
Sophomore Connor Neal battled Logan Rauschenberger at No. 1 singles before falling, 6-4, 6-1 while junior Justin Edwards fell to Tyler Hester at No. 4 singles, 6-1, 6-3.
Junior Sylvan Eichenlaub challenged Nathan Bassett at No. 5 singles, but dropped a 6-3, 6-1 decision.
The Green Terror host Brevard on Tuesday in their final match of the fall season beginning at 4 p.m.
