BALTIMORE, Md. - Three members of the McDaniel College women's cross country team earned medalist honors at the 2023 ECAC Mid-Atlantic Championships hosted at Goucher College Friday.
The Green Terror finished second out of three teams with 58 points, besting Gallaudet by 11 points. Johns Hopkins won the meet with a perfect score of 15 points.
Graduate student
Bailey Mullen led the way with a ninth-place finish with a time of 24:48.4. Her time set a new program record for the Goucher College course, beating the previous mark by over one minute. It marks her fifth course record this season.
Freshman
Maya Colavito placed 13th in 25:59.1 to move into second in program history on the course while senior
Ashley Siebenhaar placed finished 15th in 26:49.4 to moves into fourth all-time.
By finishing in the top-15, Mullen, Colavito and Siebenhaar all earned medalist honors.
Sophomore
Piper Nagaraj placed 18th with a time of 28:21.1, the eighth-best mark on the course. Sophomore
Arianna Lowengrub rounded out the scorers with a time of 28:26.0 to place 20th.
Sophomore
Abby Warner finished 24th with a personal-best time of 32:55.5.
The Green Terror will compete in the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Region at Lock Haven University next Saturday, Nov. 11.
