LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - Graduate student Bailey Mullen finished 52nd to lead the McDaniel College women's cross country at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional Saturday at Lock Haven University.
The Green Terror placed 19th with 589 points. Johns Hopkins won the regional team title with 42 points while the Blue Jays' Sara Stephenson took home the individual title with a time of 20:52.2.
Mullen posted a time of 23:03.6 to place her fifth all-time in program history in the event. It was also the 10th-fastest performance in team history and a new program record for the West Branch Cross Country course, her sixth course record of the season.
Freshman Maya Colavito finished 106th with a time of 24:36.4 while sophomore Piper Nagaraj followed in 114th, crossing the line in 24:47.4. Colavito and Nagaraj posted the second and third-fastest course times in team history, respectively.
Senior Ashley Siebenhaar placed 147th in 25:49.6 and sophomore Arianna Lowengrub rounded out the team scorers in 185th with a time of 28:16.5. Siebenhaar had the course's fifth-best time in program history while Lowengrub had the sixth-best.
