NEWVILLE, Pa. - The McDaniel College women's cross country team set three top-10 program course records as it competed at the Dickinson Pre-National Meet Saturday at Big Spring High School.
The Green Terror finished 32nd on the same course that will host the 2023 NCAA Division III Cross Country Championships on Saturday, Nov. 18. They finished fourth out of five teams from the Centennial Conference, trailing host Dickinson (16), Gettysburg (19) and Haverford (29) while placing ahead of Bryn Mawr (34).
Graduate student
Bailey Mullen led the team with a time of 24:45.2 to move her into second in program history on the Big Spring course. Freshman
Maya Colavito finished with a time of 25:41.3, the fifth-fastest time in program history while sophomore
Piper Nagaraj crossed the line in 26:15.9 to rank eighth in program history on the course.
Senior
Ashley Siebenhaar totaled a time of 27:08.5 and sophomore
Arianna Lowengrub rounded out the scorers with a time of 28:50.1.
Junior
Emily Paulson had a time of 29:44.3 in her first ever 6K while sophomore
Abby Warner posted a mark of 35:26.3 in her 6K debut.
McDaniel returns to action next Saturday, Oct. 14 in the Aubrey Shenk Invitational hosted by Gettysburg.
