WESTMINSTER, Md. - McDaniel College women's cross country graduate student
Bailey Mullen placed 24th to lead the team at the Centennial Conference Cross Country Championships Saturday at McDaniel College Golf Club.
Hosting the event for the first time since 2013 and first time ever at the Golf Club, the Green Terror finished in a tie for ninth with Muhlenberg as both teams totaled 247 points.
Johns Hopkins won its 15th consecutive championship with a perfect score of 15 points. The Blue Jays' Sara Stephenson earned the individual title with a time of 22:27.7.
Mullen clocked in with a time of 25:47.2 to post the best individual finish for a Green Terror since Lindsay Wilson placed ninth and earned All-Centennial Conference Second Team honors in 2010.
Freshman
Maya Colavito finished with a time of 27:25.7 to place 46th, the highest-placing second runner for McDaniel since 2009.
Senior
Ashley Siebenhaar placed 68th in a time of 28:51.6 while sophomore
Piper Nagaraj finished 81st in 30:31.6. Sophomore
Arianna Lowengrub rounded out the scorers with a 90th-place finish.
Junior
Emily Paulson finished 92nd and sophomore
Abby Warner came in 94th.
The Green Terror return to action at the ECAC Mid-Atlantic Championships hosted by Goucher College next Friday, Nov. 3.
