THE SKINNY
Gettysburg won all 11 events to top McDaniel, 78-16.
THE LEADERS
• Thomas Fagiolo (Takoma Park, Md./Sandy Spring Friends School) touched second in the 100 backstroke with a time of 57.60 seconds to lead the Green Terror. He also placed third in the 200 freestyle (1:58.93) and was part of the 200 freestyle relay that finished third with a time of 1:38.97.
• Aleksei Dudley (Arlington, Va./Wakefield) placed second in the 1000 freestyle with a time of 11:18.37. He also had a third-place finish in the 500 freestyle (5:20.98 and part of the 200 free relay.
• Christian Walker (Chestertown, Md./The Gunston School) was second in the 400 IM with a time of 4:54.15. He was also third in the 100 breaststroke (1:10.18).
FOR THE FOES
• Oliver Pickering led the Bullets with a three-win day, touching first in the 50 free (22.35 seconds) and 100 butterfly (53.13). He was also part of the winning 200 free relay that posted a time of 1:30.67.
• Sam Nonemaker also recorded a three-win outing, nabbing an individual win in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 59.54 seconds. He was also part of both winning relays – the 200 medley (1:37.39) and 200 free (1:47.93).
• Duncan Proxmire rounded out the triple winners with victories in the 1000 freestyle (9:58.76) 100 freestyle (49.58 seconds) and as part of the 200 free relay.
• Brian Berry was first in the 100 backstroke (56.93 seconds) and capped a double-win meet as part of the winning 200 free relay.
THE REST OF THE STORY
• Jack Alperstein (Arnold, Md./Broadneck) placed third in both the 50 freestyle (24.11 seconds) and 100 butterfly (1:03.19).
• Zach Askounes (Frederick, Md./Oakdale) placed third in the 400 IM with a time of 5:07.41. He also touched third in the 100 freestyle (55.45 seconds).
