McDaniel finished fifth out of six teams with 163 points as the only Division III team at the Towson Invitational.
THE LEADERS
• Julia Murphy (Westminster, Md./Winters Mill) finished 36th overall with a time of 18:10.4.
FOR THE FOES
• Towson's Olivia Janke won the race with a time of 15:32.4, edging her teammate.
• Lafayette won the meet with 45 points.
THE REST OF THE STORY
• Riley O'Hara (Fairfax, Va./Robinson Secondary School) was 48th with a time of 20:43.5.
• Maria Kropkowski (Forest Hill, Md./North Harford) placed 49th with a time of 20:57.5.
• Bailey Chapman (Bel Air, Md./Patterson Mill) crossed 50th with a time of 21:11.1.
• Renee Dupre (Hagerstown, Md./Smithsburg) placed 54th with a time of 23:58.1.
• Vanessa Valez Cabal (Cali, Columbia/Gimnasio la colina) was 55th with a time of 24:45.5.
• Anna Persick (West Chester, Pa./Henderson) crossed 56th with a time of 25:04.0.

• At the 4,000-meter distance, 57 runners competed the course.
• Julia Murphy's time ranks sixth all-time for the Green Terror at Oregon Ridge.
• Riley O'Hara, Maria Kropkowski and Bailey Chapman now rank 13th, 14th and 15th, respectively on the all-time list at Oregon Ridge.
• Renee Dupree, Vanessa Valez Cabal and Anna Persick are now 19th, 20th and 21st, respectively on the all-time list in their debuts on the course.
