McDaniel finished ninth at the Centennial Conference Championship hosted by Gettysburg.
THE LEADERS
• Julia Murphy (Westminster, Md./Winters Mill) led the Green Terror with a 53rd-place finish, completing the 6,000-meter course in a time of 25:20.2.
FOR THE FOES
• Johns Hopkins won its 12th straight title with 23 points behind five of the top seven finishers.
• Dickinson's Isabel Cardi won the individual crown with a time of 21:16.7.
THE REST OF THE STORY
• Megan Mesick (Fredericksburg, Va./Chancellor) finished 54th overall with a time of 25:23.0.
• Maria Kropkowski (Forest Hill, Md./North Harford) placed 87th with a time of 28:16.2.
• Jill Shephard (Monkton, Md./North Harford) was 92nd with a time of 28:39.6.
• Bailey Chapman (Bel Air, Md./Patterson Mill) finished 93rd overall with a time of 28:44.3
• Mackenzie Meyer (San Jose, Calif./Pioneer) crossed 97th with a time of 31:04.7.
• Renee Dupre (Hagerstown, Md./Smithsburg) rounded out the Green Terror competitors in 98th place (32:32.1).
THE INSIDE STORY
• A total of 99 runners competed at the 6,000-meter distance.
• Julia Murphy and Megan Mesick turned in the Green Terror's all-time No. 20 and No. 21 times on the Gettysburg course, respectively.
