MIDDLETOWN, Pa. – Rebecca Debinski (Sykesville, Md./Century) finished first to lead McDaniel to a second-place finish at the Bud Smitely Invitational hosted by Penn State-Harrisburg in women's cross country action on Friday.

Time and Score:

• The Green Terror finished second with 45 points. A total of 24 runners competed at the 5,000-meter distance. Lebanon Valley won the meet with 20 points.

Head of the Class:

• Rebecca Debinski turned in a time of 20:36.3 to finish first. It was her second straight individual victory.

Five of a Kind: The following athletes rounded out the Green Terror's finishers:

• Samantha Merkel (Baltimore, Md./Winters Mill) finished seventh (21:16.6)
• Jill Shephard (Monkton, Md./North Harford) finished 12th (24:47.0)
• Bailey Chapman (Bel Air, Md./Patterson Mill) finished 14th (25:12.7)
• Mackenzie Meyer (San Jose, Calif./Pioneer) finished 16th (27:07.1)
• Mable Buchanan (Westminster, Md./North Carroll) finished 17th (27:07.1)
