FREDERICK, Md. – Rebecca Debinski (Sykesville, Md./Century) finished third to lead McDaniel to a fourth-place finish at the Hood College Open in women's cross country action on Saturday.

Time and Score:

• The Green Terror finished fourth with 101 points. A total of 94 runners competed at the 6,000-meter distance. Catholic won the 11-team meet with 55 points.

Head of the Class:

• Rebecca Debinski turned in a time of 24:25.1 to finish first.

Five of a Kind: The following athletes rounded out the Green Terror's finishers:

• Carinna Powell (Chesapeake Beach, Md./Northern) finished 14th (25:50.6)
• Samantha Merkel (Baltimore, Md./Winters Mill) finished 21st (26:46.2)
• Mollie Murphy (Short Hills, N.J./Millburn) finished 32nd (27:43.5)
• Jill Shephard (Monkton, Md./North Harford) finished 52nd (29:22.0)
• Mable Buchanan (Westminster, Md./North Carroll) finished 72nd (32:05.7)
