WESTMINSTER, Md. – Steph Becker (New Oxford, Pa./New Oxford) finished second in the 3,000-meter race to lead McDaniel at its own Green Terror Challenge in women's cross country action on Saturday.

Time and Score:

• The Green Terror finished first of two teams in the 3K race with 17 points (12 runners). In the 5,000-meter race, McDaniel had just one competitor among the 10 runners.

Heads of the Class:

• Steph Becker finished second in the 3,000-meter race with a time of 13:19.35
• Sarah Lighter (Olney, Md./Good Counsel) finished third in the 5,000-meter race with a time of 24:46.64

Five of a Kind: The following athletes rounded out the scoring four at the meet:

• Mable Buchanan (Westminster, Md./North Carroll) finished fifth (14:34.94)
• Lucy Benson (Wilmington, Del./Sanford) finished sixth (14:43.94)
• Sarah Lighter finished eighth (15:01.69)
