ANNAPOLIS, Pa. – Carinna Powell (Chesapeake Beach, Md./Northern) finished 61st to lead McDaniel at the Salty Dog Invitational hosted by Navy in women's cross country action on Saturday.

Time and Score:

• The Green Terror did not compete as a full team at the primarily Division I meet. A total of 74 runners competed at the 6,000-meter distance. Maryland won the meet with 43 points.

Head of the Class:

• Carinna Powell turned in a time of 28:21.59 to lead McDaniel in the race.

Five of a Kind: The following athletes rounded out the competitors at the meet:

• Steph Becker (New Oxford, Pa./New Oxford) finished 67th (30:40.33)
• Sarah Lighter (Olney, Md./Good Counsel) finished 68th (31:10.93)
• Lucy Benson (Wilmington, Del./Sanford) finished 70th (31:55.30)

Making the List: The following athletes turned in a top-1 all-time Green Terror time on the Navy course.

• Carinna Powell ranks second with her time of 28:21.59
• Steph Becker ranks ninth with her time of 30:40.33
• Sarah Lighter ranks 10th with her time of 31:10.93
