CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – Carinna Powell (Chesapeake Beach, Md./Northern) finished 202nd to lead McDaniel at the 2016 NCAA Div. III Mideast women's cross country regional championship on Saturday.
Time and Score:
- The Green Terror did not compete with a full team so did not post a team score. A total of 371 runners competed at the 6,000-meter distance. Johns Hopkins won the 51-team championship meet on the DeSales campus course with 38 points.
Heads of the Class:
- Carinna Powell turned in a time of 25:46 to lead McDaniel in the race.
Five of a Kind: The following athletes rounded out the competitors at the meet:
- Steph Becker (New Oxford, Pa./New Oxford) finished 229th (26:08).
- Jill Shephard (Monkton, Md./North Harford) finished 325 (29:13)
