ANNAPOLIS, Md. – Amelia Lawrence (Cabin John, Md./Walt Whitman) finished 66th to lead a partial McDaniel squad at the Salty Dog Invitational hosted by Navy in women's cross country action on Saturday.
The Green Terror – the only Division III team in the field – had only three competitors in the field so did not register a team score. Navy won the race with 40 points, edging George Washington by virtue of a better finish by its sixth-place runner.
Lawrence finished the squad's first 6,000-meter run of the season in a time of 28:36.32.
