Wilson paces Green Terror at Metro Meet with 12th-place

COCKEYSVILLE, Md. – Lindsay Wilson (Catonsville, Md./Seton
Keough) finished 12th overall to lead McDaniel to a third-place
finish in the season-opening Baltimore Metro Meet in women's
cross country action on Friday.
The Green Terror was second among the four Division III teams in
the 5,000-meter event, finishing with 97 points. Johns Hopkins took
the title with 23 points while Towson was second with 32.
Wilson was the first non-Blue Jay or Tiger to cross the line,
completing the course in a time of 19:30.48.
Missy Black (West Grove, Pa./Bishop Shanahan) was the second
McDaniel runner across the line, finishing 28th with a time of
21:07.24.
Becky Kaler (Jefferson, Md./Brunswick) crossed 40th overall
(22:13.07) while Jennifer Garnett (Los Altos, Calif./Homestead) was
43rd (22:46.72).
Phoebe McHale (Collegeville, Pa./Perkiomen Valley) and Laura Shinn (Weehawkin, N.J./Pennington) were 50th (23:19.37) and 51st
(23:27.12), respectively.
The Green Terror returns to action in its home invitational on
Saturday, Sept. 11. The first race begins at 9:40 a.m.
