McDaniel puts two in two three to finish third at York
Invitational
YORK, Pa. - Lindsay Wilson (Catonsville, Md./Seton
Keough) won her second 5,000-meter race of the season,
leading McDaniel to a third-place finish at the York Invitational
in women's cross country action on Saturday.
The Green Terror recorded 85 points, finishing behind Franklin
& Marshall (37) and Catholic (51).
Wilson crossed the line in a time of 19:32.35 while
Roxanne Fleischer (Westminster, Md./Winters Mill)
made it two McDaniel runners in the top three, finishing third in a
time of 20:12.57.
Emma Nichols (Myersville, Md./Middletown)
placed 24th (21:40.21) while Jennifer Garnett (Los Altos,
Calif./Homestead) was 26th (21:47.08).
Emily Hajjar (Frederick, Md./Urbana) also
finished in the top 50, crossing 49th in a time of 23:13.82.
The Green Terror returns to action at the Paul Short Run hosted
by Lehigh on Friday.
