Wilson finishes 23rd to lead Green Terror
GETTYSBURG, Pa. - Lindsay Wilson (Catonsville, Md./Seton
Keough) finished 23rd overall in a time of 24:42.43 to
lead McDaniel to an eighth-place finish at the 2009 Centennial
Conference women's cross country championship hosted by Gettysburg
on Saturday.
The Green Terror recorded 230 points as a team. Johns Hopkins
won its second straight title, outdistancing Dickinson, 26-49.
Haverford's Emily Lipman won the individual title,
finishing the 6,000-meter course in a time of 22:40.66.
Roxanne Fleischer (Westminster, Md./Winters
Mill) finished 34th overall in a time of 25:20.88.
Jennifer Garnett (Los Altos, Calif./Homestead)
crossed the line 73rd in a time of 27:19.68 while Joy Chand
(Frederick, Md./Gov. Thomas Johnson) was 79th in a time of
27:30.55.
Emma Nichols (Myersville, Md./Middletown)
rounded out McDaniel's top five, crossing 88th in a time of
28:07.85.
The Green Terror concludes the season at the NCAA Division III
Mideast Regional meet hosted by Lehigh on Nov. 14.
