THE SKINNY STORY
McDaniel had three athletes compete in the heptathlon at the Mount Multis.

THE LEADERS
Hannah Zajac (Houston, Texas/Clear Creek) finished seventh in the field with a Centennial Conference-qualifying score of 3,099 points, which ranks eighth in program history. She hit conference and ECAC-qualifying standards in the high jump (1.51 meters) and long jump (4.84 meters). She also hit the conference mark in the 200 (29.36 seconds) to cap day one. The high jump was her highest scoring event with 632 points.
• Mackenzie Meyer (San Jose, Calif./Pioneer) was eighth with 1,910 points. She posted a conference-qualifying throw in the javelin with a mark of 21.67 meters. Her high point total came with 438 points in the 800 with her time of 2:52.46.

THE REST OF THE STORY
Sarah Case (Frederick, Md./Oakdale) posted a conference qualifier in the javelin with a mark of 23.80 meters. Her high point total came in the 200 with a time of 30.16 to earn 471 points.
