McDaniel won four of the five contested singles matches to capture a 6-3 win over Notre Dame (Md.).

THE LEADERS
• Reaiah Rutherford (Old Lyme, Conn./Metropolitan Business Academy and Educational Center for the Arts) posted one of three 2-0 days for the Green Terror. She teamed with Rachael Hartley (Baltimore, Md./Patapsco) for an 8-1 win at No. 2 doubles before capturing an 8-3 win at No. 3 singles.
• Hartley rounded out a 2-0 debut with a 6-1, 6-0 victory at fourth singles.
• Lia Posatko (Rydal, Pa./The Crefeld School) rounded out the double winners, teaming with Michelle Addo (Boonsboro, Md./Boonsboro) for an 8-4 victory at No. 1 doubles in their debuts. Posatko then won 6-2, 6-0 at second singles.

FOR THE FOES
• Isa Dallasta captured No. 1 singles for the Gators, winning 6-3, 6-0.

THE REST OF THE STORY
Mollie Riner (Hanover, Pa./South Western) rounded out the victories for the Green Terror with a 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 5 singles.
• Sam Grannas and Elizabeth Silcott won by forfeit at third doubles before Silcott was awarded the victory at sixth singles.
