THE SKINNY STORY
Swarthmore, ranked 14th in the preseason coaches' poll, won all 11 events to record an 80-15 win over McDaniel in the season opener.

THE LEADERS
Jose Pac (Quetzaltenango, Guatemala/International American School) led the Green Terror with a trio of second-place finishes. Individually, he was in the 200 free (1:47.40) and 100 free (48.35). He was also part of the 200 medley relay, which finished second with a time of 1:42.73.

FOR THE FOES
• Alec Lawless touched first in the 50 free (21.64) and 100 free (48.15).
• Alex Hatzikos won the 400 IM (4:24.14) and 100 backstroke (55.92).
• Jeffrey Mun won the 200 free (1:46.28).
• Lonnie Chien won the 100 breaststroke (1:02.05).
• Jeremy Rockaway touched first in the 100 fly (52.50).
• Ben Freeman won the 500 free (4:55.40).
• Horace won the 100 IM (53.32).
• John Grey Crosby, Ethan Bergmann joined Chien and Mun to win the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:41.72, outtouching McDaniel by one second.
• Crosby, Andrew Sung, Luke Wang and Jonathan Odim wrapped up the day with a win the 200 free relay (1:31.27).

THE REST OF THE STORY
Thomas Fagiolo (Takoma Park, Md./Sandy Springs Friends School), Zach Kiick (Gettysburg, Pa./Gettysburg Area) and Grayson Blanchard (Germantown, Md./Seneca Valley) joined Pac to finish second in the 200 medley relay (1:42.73).
• Fagiolo added a second-place finish in the 100 back (56.34)
• Blanchard was also third in the 50 free (22.32) and 1100 fly (53.72).
• Kiick was also third in the 100 breaststroke (1:05.10).
• Zach Askounes (Frederick, Md./Oakdale) was third in the 400 IM (4:53.74) and 500 free (5:18.97).
• Jack Alperstein was third in the 100 IM (1:03.29).
