WESTMINSTER, Md. – Sara Hegna (Brielle, N.J./Manasquan) won three times to lead McDaniel against Franklin & Marshall in Centennial Conference (CC) women's swimming action on Friday.
Scoring:
- The Diplomats (3-5, 2-2 CC) defeated the Green Terror (3-5, 0-5 CC) by a score of 47-39. The meet was decided by the final event of the night – the 200 free relay.
Head of the Class: The following athletes won multiple events at the meet:
- Individually, Sara Hegna won the 50 free (25.43 seconds) and 100 backstroke (1:01.06). She was also part of the winning 200 medley relay (1:54.23).
- Blair Boyle (Springfield, N.J./Villa Walsh Academy) won the 200 free (2:01.18) and 100 free (55.35 seconds).

- Anna Hess won the 200 IM (2:21.98).
- Leah Williamson won the 100 butterfly (1:00.70).
- Grace Pereles won the 500 free (5:29.82).
- Michelle Wall won the 100 breaststroke (1:11.06).
- Julia Pavlov, Diane Wagner and Erin Fago joined Williamson to win the 200 free relay (1:42.48).
