McDaniel places 25 on Fall Academic Honor Roll

LANCASTER, Pa. - Twenty-five McDaniel College student-athletes have been named to the 2008 Centennial Conference (CC) Fall Academic Honor Roll, announced recently. To be nominated for the honor roll, a student-athlete must be a starter or key reserve, be of sophomore standing or higher, and have a cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.40. The honored Green Terror student-athletes are:

Men's Cross Country
Senior Kevin Bowman (Frederick, Md./Brunswick), senior Cody Crutchley (Frederick, Md./Gov. Thomas Johnson), senior Scott Pusateri (Accident, Md./Northern), senior Dan White (Union Bridge, Md./Francis Scott Key).

Women's Cross Country
Junior Lauren DiNatale (Auburn, N.H./Manchester Memorial), junior Roxanne Fleischer (Westminster, Md./Winters Mill), sophomore Jennifer Garnett (Los Althos, CA/Homestead), senior Katie Griffith (Eldersburg, Md./Liberty), senior Rachel Griffith (Eldersburg, Md./North Carroll), junior Emily Hajjar (Frederick, Md./Urbana), sophomore Emily Peoples (Wilmington, Del./Brandywine).

Field Hockey

In all, 300 student-athletes from the CC's 11 member institutions were named to the 2008 Fall Academic Honor Roll.
