Mostly grass with a couple of road crossings (where we hope to lay carpet). Woods trail, two bridge crossings. Moderately hilly.

Team Information

Results/Timing: Timing will be handled by Jim Shank. Assigned race numbers will be included in packets.

Entries: Jim Shank has downloaded all teams' rosters from TFRRS. As long as your roster is up to date and accurate, your athlete is in the meet. No declarations necessary. The 12 sent to the starting line will be considered your team.

Entry Fee: $12 per runner who competes in the varsity race – 12 may race. Checks made to McDaniel College. Entry fees due the morning of the race. (No charge for JV race.)

Bus Parking: Carroll County Career and Technology Center: After dropping off athletes, buses will be directed to park at the Carroll County Career and Technology Center about a mile from the Farm Museum. Make sure coaches have bus driver's cell phone information before buses leave the Farm Museum.

Team Areas: A team tent area will be set up near the finish area. There is one pavilion available on a first-come, first-serve basis. The pavilion closest to the finish line is reserved for timing services, meet management and the host team.

Course Review: The course will be available from 12-4:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 1 and reopen at 8 a.m. on race day.

Packet Pick-Up: Saturday, Nov. 2 beginning at 9:30 a.m. at the finish area.

Coaches Meeting: Saturday, Nov. 2 at 10 a.m. Location is TBD. 

Showers: Will be available upon request on the McDaniel campus (Gill Center). Please call 443-974–5900 if your team is interested in shower facilities.

Awards: Ceremony will follow the the JV race at the timing pavilion (closest to finish line). Medal will be issued. Places 1-7 are designated first-team all-conference and places 8–14 are designated second-team all-conference. The winner of each championship race will be honored as the 2013 Centennial Conference Runner of the Year. There will be no awards for the JV race.

Results: Will be posted to this page and the McDaniel Athletics home page following the conclusion of the races. Complete individual and team results will be sent via email as soon as they are declared official to all conference SIDs by McDaniel SID, Luke Stillson. Any special requests may be sent to sid@mcdaniel.edu.

Spectator Information

Parking: Limited parking is available at the Farm Museum. Carroll Springs Elementary and Landon Burns Park, both adjacent to the Farm Museum, will be used for overflow parking.

Restrooms: Plenty of public facilities are available at the Farm Museum.

No alcohol or tobacco products are allowed at the championship site. Also, no pets are allowed at the Farm Museum.
