WESTMINSTER, Md. – McDaniel will travel to Bethany (W.Va.) for the 2013 Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Southwest volleyball tournament on Saturday. Match time is yet to be determined.
The Green Terror (19-7) will play the host Bison (28-10) in one of the semifinals. Grove City (15-15) and Marymount (19-14) will play in the day's other semifinal. The two winners will meet the championship while the other teams will meet in the third-place match.
The Green Terror advanced to the Centennial Conference (CC) tournament for the first time since 2007, dropping a 3-1 decision to Muhlenberg in the semifinals on Saturday.
Kloe Martin (Littleton, Colo./Heritage) leads the team with 329 kills. She is also second on the team with 267 digs. She is also tied for the team lead with 31 aces and fourth on the team with 29 total blocks.
Madeline Rose (Soddy Daisy, Tenn./Baylor High) leads the squad with 77 total blocks and ranks second with 240 kills. She is tied for third with 29 aces.
Colette Kellen (Derwood, Md./Covenant Life) and Maddie Moyer (Brookeville, Md./Sherwood) have added 542 and 358 assists to the offense, respectively. Kellen also has 218 digs, 31 aces and 21 blocks while Moyer has 116 digs and 26 aces.
Genna Weger (Shrewsbury, Pa./Susquehannock) leads the defense with 377 digs. She also has 26 aces.
