WESTMINSTER, Md. – McDaniel won each set by a progressively larger margin en route to a 3-0 Centennial Conference (CC) volleyball victory over Dickinson on Wednesday.

Kloe Martin (Littleton, Colo./Heritage) and Madeline Rose (Soddy Daisy, Tenn./Baylor High) led the Green Terror (11-3, 3-1 CC), combining for 23 kills and nine total blocks. Martin recorded 14 kills against just one error in 30 attempts to hit .433 while Rose had nine knockdowns and hit .467, keying a .312 team hitting percentage for McDaniel. Rose led the way with five total blocks, including two solo while Martin had four blocks. Lexi Corral (Gaithersburg, Md./Gaithersburg) added four more blocks for the Green Terror, who had nine total team blocks.

Laura Silverman led the Red Devils (5-10, 0-4 CC) with 11 kills.

Dickinson jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the first set before a Martin ace keyed an 11-5 run for McDaniel.

Neither team was able to open up a lead of larger than two from that point on until back-to-back Red Devils errors gave the Green Terror a 20-17 lead and forced a Dickinson timeout.

A Maddie Moyer (Brookeville, Md./Sherwood) ace out of the timeout started a run of three more McDaniel points in a row en route to a 25-19 win.

Deadlocked at 6-all in the second set, a Martin kill handed the serve to Colette Kellen (Derwood, Md./Covenant Life), who reeled off four straight points that opened up a 10-6 advantage en route to a 25-15 victory.

Three straight Moyer-to-Martin kills around both of Rose's aces keyed a 9-0 run midway through the third set, resulting in a 25-11 McDaniel win.

Moyer and Kellen chipped in 19 and 15 assists, respectively. Genna Weger (Shrewsbury, Pa./Susquehannock) steadied the defense with 19 digs while Alyssa Gilboy (Malton, N.J./Cherokee) added 11.

McDaniel returns to action at Penn State-Altoona for a trimatch with Rutgers-Newark on Saturday. Action begins at 1 p.m.
