WESTMINSTER, Md. – Washington closed the season with a 3-0 sweep of McDaniel in Centennial Conference (CC) volleyball action on Saturday.

Hannah Krobock (Frederick, Md./Tuscarora) led the Green Terror (0-25, 0-10 CC) on defense with 12 digs. Annie McShea (Frederick, Md./Gov. Thomas Johnson) led the offense with six kills and five assists.

Sarah Beresik led the Shorewomen (16-12, 2-8 CC) with nine kills while Kate Liccione and Lauren White steadied the defense with nine and eight digs, respectively.

In the first set, Washington put together four separate runs of no fewer than four points to take a 25-13 victory.

A pair of White aces helped stake the Shorewomen to a 4-0 lead in the second set. However, kills from McShea and Arielle Stockbridge (Malvern, Pa.) helped draw the Green Terror even at 4-all.

A Sarah Marshall (Lexington, Mass./Gann Academy) kill put McDaniel on top 10-7 before back-to-back Jenny Lee aces keyed a 7-0 run to put the visitors up 14-10 en route to a 25-18 victory.

Eight straight points midway through the third set keyed a 25-12 win for the Washington sweep.

Lee finished the day with eight aces and nine kills.

Marshall added five kills and nine assists for the Green Terror.
