WESTMINSTER, Md. – In addition to its own "Blue Out" event next Saturday, the McDaniel volleyball team will be joining with Swarthmore for a clinic after this Saturday's match at Swarthmore.
Following the 1 p.m. Centennial Conference volleyball match, the Garnet and Green Terror will present the "Dig for a Cure" volleyball clinic to rain money for pediatric cancer research and support Tanner's Touch.
Players will be able to fine tune their skills in preparation for the final weeks of regular-season play and participate in a great cause by raising money for Tanner's Touch. The clinic will run from approximately 3-4:30 p.m. at the Tarble Pavilion on Swarthmore's campus and is open for girls from grades 5-12.
Swarthmore is requesting a $10 donation per player or a toy donation. Cash or checks will be accepted at the door.
For more details on McDaniel's part in the campaign or to donate, contact head coach Carole Molloy at 410-857-2566 or cmolloy@mcdaniel.edu.
