McShea notches eight kills

CARLISLE, Pa. – Dickinson hit a season-best .431 to help in a 3-0 Centennial Conference (CC) volleyball sweep of McDaniel on Wednesday.

Annie McShea (Frederick, Md./Gov. Thomas Johnson) recorded eight kills to lead the attack for the Green Terror (0-15, 0-5 CC), who recorded a season-low three errors and hit a season-best .226.

Liz Norris led the Red Devils (3-12, 1-2 CC) with 12 kills and three aces.

Brooke Sillaman (Crofton, Md./Arundel) added four kills and nine assists to the McDaniel attack.

Hannah Krobock (Frederick, Md./Tuscarora) steadied the defense with six digs while Melissa Weldon (Broomall, Pa./Country Day School of the Sacred Heart) added five. McShea and Sarah Marshall (Lexington, Mass./Gann Academy) added four apiece.

Grace Morgan added 19 assists to the Dickinson offense while MacKenzie Masten chipped in 11. Masten added a team-best four aces. Sam Iazzetta led the defense with six digs. Avery Zuvic added three aces and five kills. Kaylee Britain chipped in eight kills.

McDaniel returns to action at the Lycoming Tip-Off Classic on Friday and Saturday. The Green Terror opens the four-match tournament with Misericordia at 4 p.m. on Friday.
