Franklin & Marshall remains unbeaten
Diplomats move to 5-0 in conference play with 3-0 win over McDaniel
LANCASTER, Pa. – Sydney Power recorded nine kills to lead Franklin & Marshall to a 3-0 Centennial Conference (CC) volleyball victory over McDaniel on Saturday.
The Diplomats (16-4, 5-0 CC) remained perfect in conference play, winning the first two sets by 25-18 margins and finishing the sweep of the Green Terror (2-15, 1-3 CC) with a 25-22 victory.
Annie McShea (Frederick, Md./Gov. Thomas Johnson) led McDaniel with nine kills and 11 digs.
Kristen Nuckles (Suffolk, Va./Nansemond-Suffolk Academy) added 11 digs and 11 assists.
Jackie Hawkins (Ellicott City, Md./Centennial) chipped in 10 assists and six kills while Maggie Fennelly (Madison, N.J./Madison) had seven kills.
The Green Terror returns to action at home against Dickinson on Wednesday. Match time is 7 p.m.
