GETTYSBURG, Pa. – Jasmine McCormick (Antioch, Calif./Holy Name) won the 400 hurdles to represent McDaniel at the Mason-Dixon Invitational hosted by Gettysburg in women's outdoor track and field action on Saturday.
With just McCormick competing in the one event, the Green Terror finished tied for seventh place with 10 points. Gettysburg won the meet with 227 points.
McCormick not only improved on her Centennial Conference-qualifying mark but also hit the ECAC-qualifying mark with her time of 1:05.37. Her time ranks second in program history, just 0.26 seconds shy of the record-breaking performance turned in by Claire Lawson (McMinnville, Ore./McMinnville) a week earlier at Johns Hopkins.
The Green Terror returns to action at its own Twilight Meet on Wednesday.
