Schauer takes two games

WESTMINSTER, Md. – Muhlenberg won all three doubles matches 8-0 en route to a 9-0 win over McDaniel in Centennial Conference (CC) women's tennis action on Saturday.

Winsome Schauer (Hartford, Conn./Watkinson School) led the Green Terror (1-11, 0-5 CC), winning two games. She dropped a 6-1, 6-1 decision to Nina Sanders at first singles.

Emily Szulman led the Mules (5-4, 4-2 CC) as one of three players to go 2-0 without dropping a game. Szulman and Sanders teamed for an 8-0 win at first doubles before she won 6-0, 6-0 at second singles.

Goldberg and Jamie Rosenblum notched an 8-0 win before the duo won 6-0, 6-0 at third and fifth singles, respectively.

Danielle Cloney (Severna Park, Md.) dropped a 6-1, 6-0 decision at fourth singles for the only other game won by McDaniel.

The Green Terror returns to action at home against Gettysburg on Monday. Match time is 4 p.m.
