Cloney wins three games

CARLISLE, Pa. – Dickinson won three of the five contested singles matches by 6-0, 6-0 scores to help defeat McDaniel 9-0 in Centennial Conference (CC) women's tennis action on Tuesday.

Danielle Cloney (Severna Park, Md.) led the Green Terror (1-9, 0-3 CC), winning three games at No. 2 singles after everyone was moved up yet another spot in the lineup from Monday's match after an injury.

Shannon Lavery and Madison Parks each went 2-0 for the Red Devils (4-4, 3-0 CC) without dropping a game.

Lavery teamed with Maddy Atholtz for an 8-0 win at No. 1 doubles before winning 6-0, 6-0 at first singles.

Parks partnered with Sarah Cantor to win 8-0 at third doubles before tallying a 6-0, 6-0 win at fourth singles.

The Green Terror returns to action at Juniata on Friday. Match time is 3 p.m.
