Patron wins 11 games

WESTMINSTER, Md. – Juniata won all three doubles en route to a 9-0 non-conference women's tennis win over McDaniel on Friday.

Kiersten Patron (Timonium, Md./Dulaney) led the Green Terror (1-9), winning 11 games over her two matches. She teamed with Chelsea Barnett (Hanover, Pa./South Western) to drop an 8-4 to Heather Waring and Megan Phillips at No. 1 doubles before dropping a 6-3, 6-4 decision to Waring at first singles.

Tori Gray led the Eagles (10-4), winning her third singles match 6-0, 6-1 after partnering with Mitsuki Koh for an 8-1 win at second doubles. Koh won 6-0, 6-1 at sixth singles.

McDaniel returns to action at Trinity (D.C.) on Saturday. Match time is 1 p.m.
