Patron wins five games

WESTMINSTER, Md. – Dickinson won all three doubles en route to a 9-0 Centennial Conference (CC) women's tennis win over McDaniel on Wednesday.

Kiersten Patron (Timonium, Md./Dulaney) led the Green Terror (1-8, 0-3 CC), winning five games. She teamed with Chelsea Barnett (Hanover, Pa./South Western) to fall 8-2 to Shannon Lavery and Sydney Diamond at No. 1 doubles before dropping a 6-0, 6-3 decision to Lavery at first singles.

Madelin Altholtz led the Red Devils (4-7, 3-1 CC), winning her third singles match 6-0, 6-0 after partnering with Dominique Hedderich for an 8-1 win at second doubles.

Ilana Unger and Sarah Cantor rounded out doubles play with an 8-0 win in the third slot.

McDaniel returns to action at home against Juniata on Friday. Match time is 3 p.m.
