Chelsea Barnett led the Green Terror, taking the first set of No. 2 singles by a 6-0 margin. Ursinus swept doubles play en route to a 9-0 win over McDaniel.

Lewis wins set
Lauren Lewis led the Green Terror, taking the second set 6-4 at sixth singles to force a third set super-tiebreaker. Washington (Md.) swept doubles en route to a 9-0 win over McDaniel.

Barnett wins in three
Lauren Lewis teamed with Angela Johnson for an 8-6 win at third doubles.. With a 6-3 victory over Bryn Mawr in the home finale, McDaniel snapped a stretch of 66 matches in Centennial Conference play without a team victory.

Kiersten Patron and Chelsea Barnett led the Green Terror, combining to win the only game in doubles. Johns Hopkins won all nine matches without dropping more than two games in each flight to defeat McDaniel 9-0 in Centennial Conference (CC) women's tennis action.

Kiersten Patron and Chelsea Barnett teamed to lead the Green Terror in doubles play, dropping an 8-4 decision. Gettysburg swept doubles play before an injury default clinched a 5-0 win over McDaniel.

Danielle Cloney keyed the win for the Green Terror, going 2-0 without dropping a game. McDaniel swept singles play to key its first win of the spring, defeating Trinity (D.C.) 9-0 on Saturday.

With weather in the area, North Central (Ill.) and McDaniel played only until the match was decided. The Cardinals won the three contested singles matches to reach five points for a 5-1 victory over the Green Terror.

Steve French has been named McDaniel interim head men’s and women’s tennis coach, effective immediately.

Elise O’Meara led the Green Terror with a 2-0 day, teaming with Laura Pollard for an 8-0 win at first doubles before taking a 6-0, 6-0 victory at fourth singles. McDaniel did not drop a game in doubles play to key a 9-0 win over Trinity (D.C.).

O'Meara, Pollard win in straight sets
Three of the four McDaniel singles players to compete at the 2012 Goucher Open won a match. Laura Pollard won the seventh-place match in the second flight to lead the Green Terror.

White wins twice
McDaniel opened its fall schedule, dropping a pair of matches at Hood. Sophie White won one match against each opponent to lead the Green Terror, who dropped a 7-2 decision to Chowan and 6-1 decision to Hood.
