Hamric, Patron win in doubles

BRYN MAWR, Pa. – Bryn Mawr swept singles play to cap an 8-1 victory over McDaniel in Centennial Conference (CC) women's tennis action on Sunday.

Devan Hamric (Westminster, Md./Winters Mill) and Kiersten Patron (Timonium, Md./Dulaney) teamed to lead the Green Terror (3-8, 0-6 CC) with an 8-6 win at second doubles.

Anna Perocchi and Vivien Chen partnered for an 8-4 victory at No. 1 doubles to lead the Owls (3-10, 1-4 CC), keying a 2-0 day for the duo. Perocchi won first singles 6-0, 6-2 while Chen took second singles, 6-1, 6-4.

Zoe Odenwalder also won twice, pairing with Catherine Austin to win 8-3 at third doubles before notching a 6-0, 6-0 victory at sixth singles.

The Green Terror returns to action at Trinity (D.C.) on Tuesday. Match time is 3:30 p.m.
