Franklin & Marshall remains perfect in conference
Diplomats down McDaniel, 108-62
LANCASTER, Pa. – Krista Hollingsworth won three times to lead Franklin & Marshall to a 108-62 victory over McDaniel in Centennial Conference (CC) women's swimming action on Friday.
The Diplomats (5-4, 4-0 CC) won the first seven events of the meet to secure a victory in their first action in six weeks.
Hollingsworth swam the leadoff leg of the 200 medley relay that opened the meet with a victory in a combined time of 1:55.92 before she added individual wins in the 50 free (25.55) and 100 backstroke (1:03.15).
Schickler earned first place in the 500 freestyle with a time of 5:42.37 while Duesterhaus won the 100 breaststroke in a time of 1:15.62.
McDaniel's 200 freestyle relay team of Brittney Lenz (Pasadena, Md./Chesapeake), Rachel Walega (Ambler, Pa./Wissahickon), Suzanne Stettinius (Parkton, Md./Hereford) and Megan Giroux (Damascus, Md./Damascus) was victorious in a time of 1:45.34.
The Green Terror returns to action at home against Elizabethtown on Wednesday. Meet time is 6 p.m.
