Franklin & Marshall stays perfect in CC

McDaniel falls to Diplomats, 55-30

WESTMINSTER, Md. - Krista Hollingsworth won a pair of individual events to lead Franklin & Marshall to a 55-30 victory over McDaniel in Centennial Conference (CC) women's swimming action on Friday.

Jessica Fry (St. Mary's, Ga./Camden County) recorded three wins to lead the Green Terror (1-6, 0-5 CC), including a pair of individual wins.

Rebecca Rice added two wins for the Diplomats (4-2, 4-0 CC), winning the 100 butterfly and as part of the 200 medley relay.

Hollingsworth touched first in the 50 free (25.96) and 100 backstroke (1:05.10).

Fry won the 400 IM in a time of 4:50.88, outdistancing Laura Bassford by eight one-hundredths of a second. She was also first in the 500 freestyle with a time of 5:21.71. She capped her triple-win night as part of the 200 freestyle relay (1:50.62).

Alyssa Romasco (Gilbertsville, Pa./Perkiomen), Megan Giroux (Damascus, Md./Damascus) and Suzanne Stettinius (Parkton, Md./Hereford) joined Fry on the relay.

Rachel Walega (Ambler, Pa./Wissahickon) rounded out the McDaniel winners, touching first in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:09.64.

The Green Terror returns to action at Elizabethtown on Wednesday. Meet time is 6 p.m.
