McDaniel scored in the final two minutes of the first half and first two minutes of the second half to build a 3-0 lead en route to a 5-0 win over Marymount.

September 11, 2016 Wroblewski tallies in victory Christina Wroblewski broke through for the Green Terror, who was the only team to go 2-0 in the classic-format tournament. McDaniel scored twice in the second half to defeat York.

September 10, 2016 Gibson tallies second-half marker in win Kirsten Gibson led the Green Terror with the game’s only goal. McDaniel made a lone second-half goal stand for a 1-0 win over Kean on the first day of the York (Pa.) Women’s Soccer Classic.

September 7, 2016 Lightning forces McDaniel-Catholic to be called The women’s soccer game between McDaniel and Catholic was postponed. With the Green Terror leading 3-2, lightning was detected within eight miles of campus with 23:15 remaining in the contest. Per NCAA rules, play had to be suspended at that point and could not resume until 30 minutes had passed since the last strike. After waiting 70 minutes, the coaches and officials agreed that play could not be resumed due to darkness.

September 1, 2016 Kirschenmann tallies twice in season-opening win Katie Kirschenmann led the Green Terror to its fifth straight season-opening win with two second half goals. McDaniel tallied a pair of goals in each half to notch a 4-2 victory over St. Mary’s (Md.).
