Scott joined the Green Terror staff in 2017 and returns for his second season on the sidelines in 2018 from UMBC, where he was a four-year starter on the Retreivers' men's soccer team.
He helped UMBC to three straight America East conference titles and an appearance in the 2014 College Cup semifinals before serving as a team captain in 2015. An all-conference as a senior and all-academic selection, he graduated third all-time in career appearances (80) for the Retrievers.
He currently plays for Christos F.C. in Baltimore. With Christos, his squad earned the Maryland Majors champions each of the last two years, won numerous regional titles and was crowned USASA national champion in 2016.
Scott currently holds his U.S. Soccer "F", grassroots, 7v7 and 11v11 licenses and is in the process of working towards his "D" License. He also holds his Level 1 and 2 coaching badges from the Scottish FA. In the Spring of 2017, he also served as a volunteer assistant at his alma mater. This most recent spring, he interned with assistant coach Brian Boussy as the Director of Coaching at Freedom Soccer Club.
A native of Fife, Scotland, Scott twice represented his regional side as captain in the Scottish national tournament reaching the final on both occasions (2010 and 2011). In 2011, he also represented the Scotland U-18 School’s team, who won the Centennial Shield for the first time in 20 years.
Scott played for numerous professional academies, including Dunfermline Athletic, Heart of Midlothian, East Fife and most recently for Livingston F.C. During his time at Livingston, Scott helped the team clinch the SYFA U-19 title with back-to-back championships between 2010-12. After graduating high school, Scott was a full-time apprentice with Livingston before coming to UMBC. He also started a game for the full professional side in March 2012, helping guide them to a 3-1 win over Greenock Morton.
He graduated cum laude from UMBC in 2016 with a bachelor of science in financial economics and management accounting certification. He is currently working towards his masters in kinesiology.
