The National Soccer Coaches Association of America recently released its Team Academic Award winners for 2013-14 and McDaniel was among the Division III teams recognized.

McDonald makes 17 saves in title game
Sarah McDonald led the Green Terror in net, making 17 saves for the second day in a row. Arcadia finished with a 25-5 advantage in shots but needed overtime to prevail 2-1 over McDaniel in the championship game of the 2014 ECAC South tournament.

Kirschenmann tallies one and one to key advance to final
Katie Kirschenmann had a hand in both goals for the fifth-seeded Green Terror. McDaniel scored twice in the first half before surviving an avalanche of shots from Lebanon Valley to advance to the championship game of the 2014 ECAC South tournament on penalty kicks.

Two members of the McDaniel women’s soccer team have been named to the All-Centennial Conference team. Kristin Hart was named to the first-team while Nicole Hill was tabbed to the second team.

Kirschenmann tallies twice in quarterfinal win
Katie Kirschenmann scored her first two collegiate goals to lead the fifth-seeded Green Terror into the semifinals. McDaniel built a 2-0 halftime lead, holding DeSales without a shot en route to a 3-0 win in the quarterfinals of the 2014 ECAC South tournament.

Freshman Sarah McDonald made eight saves for the Green Terror. In a game that both teams needed to win, neither McDaniel nor Haverford was able to find the back of the net and had to settle for a scoreless draw.

Kristen Upton led the Green Terror with her first collegiate goal. Swarthmore scored twice in a 2-minute, 25-second span to key a 3-1 win over McDaniel.

Catherine Wroblewski scored the game’s lone first-half goal for the Green Terror, finding the back of the net in the 27th minute. McDaniel tallied twice in the second half to secure a 3-0 win over Franklin & Marshall.

Nicole Hill knocked in her fourth goal of the season for the Green Terror. McDaniel tallied in the game’s 85th minute before preserving a 1-all draw at Dickinson.

Lindsey Keen scored what proved to the difference in her collegiate debut, leading the Green Terror to a season-opening win for the third straight year. McDaniel finished with a 25-2 advantage in shots, defeating Greensboro, 2-1.
