WESTMINSTER, Md. – A single first-half goal gave Swarthmore a 1-0 Centennial Conference (CC) women's soccer victory over McDaniel on Saturday.

Jan Woolley (Ephrata, Pa./Ephrata), playing a regular-season home game for the final time in her career, led the Green Terror (6-7-1, 1-4-1 CC) with five saves.

Aine Schanche scored for the Garnet (8-4, 5-2 CC), tallying off an Amber Famiglietti assist at the 35:35 mark.

Swarthmore finished with a 12-7 advantage in shots, including 8-2 in the first half.

Erica Diffendal (Westminster, Md./Winters Mill) had three shots to lead McDaniel on offense.

McDaniel returns to action at Gettysburg on Wednesday. Game time is 7 p.m.
