Woolley makes four saves

BRYN MAWR, Pa. – Bryn Mawr scored in the 17th minute and the defense made it stand for a 1-0 win over McDaniel in Centennial Conference (CC) women's soccer action on Saturday.

Jan Woolley (Ephrata, Pa./Ephrata) led the Green Terror (4-2, 1-2 CC) with four saves in goal.

Marcela Dorfsman-Hopkins led the Owls (3-3-1, 1-1 CC) with the game's lone tally.

Allegra Levy found Dorfsman-Hopkins, who finished at the 16:09 mark.

Rebecca Joseph made six saves.

McDaniel finished with a slim 6-5 advantage in shots. Allie Sokolik (Mahwah, N.J./Mahwah) and Julia Pope (Manchester, Md./North Carroll) had two shots each.

The Green Terror returns to action at York (Pa.) on Monday. Game time is 4 p.m.
