WESTMINSTER, Md. – McDaniel scored a pair of goals after halftime to overcome a 1-0 deficit and record a 2-1 overtime victory over Washington (Md.) 2-1 in Centennial Conference (CC) women's soccer action on Wednesday.

Hilary Hanus (Hockessin, Del./Cab Calloway School of the Arts) recorded a goal and an assist, including the game-winning goal for the Green Terror (3-13, 2-8 CC) in the 98th minute.

Gabby Antalffy staked the Shorewomen (2-13-1, 0-9-1 CC) to a halftime advantage.

In the 55th minute, Hanus centered a ball from the left endline that Julia Pope (Manchester, Md./North Carroll) dove at and put in the back of the net off her head to knot the game at 1-all.

McDaniel had a few opportunities in the final 35 minutes of regulation but could not put a ball past Tori Ripple, who finished with eight saves.

The Green Terror carried play throughout overtime before Kelly Crawford (Galloway, N.J./Absegami)  played a ball through to Hanus, who knocked it in from short range to close the season with a victory.

In the 19th minute, Gabby Devaud nearly had a goal but a McDaniel defender kept the ball out. However, Antalffy was there for the rebound and goal.

Kristin Cochran (Jessup, Md./Hammond) made four saves for the Green Terror, who finished with a 14-11 advantage in shots.
