WESTMINSTER, Md. – Haverford finished with a 23-8 advantage in shots, escaping McDaniel with a 1-0 Centennial Conference (CC) women's soccer victory on Saturday.
Jan Woolley (Ephrata, Pa./Ephrata) made eight saves for the Green Terror (2-12, 1-7 CC) while Robin Chernow earned the shutout for the Fords (10-1-6, 5-1-2 CC) with five stops.
Phoebe Miller rebounded a Katie Van Aken shot-and-save for the game's lone goal at the 55:36 mark.
The Green Terror returns to action at home against No. 5 Johns Hopkins on Wednesday. Game time is 4 p.m.
