Dickinson blanks McDaniel
Red Devils tally early to spark 3-0 win
WESTMINSTER, Md. – Hannah Richardson scored 2:53 into the contest to propel Dickinson to a 3-0 Centennial Conference (CC) women's soccer victory over McDaniel on Friday.
The Red Devils (9-2-1, 4-1 CC) finished with a 26-2 advantage in shots and 10-1 advantage in corner kicks.
Jan Woolley (Ephrata, Pa./Ephrata) led the Green Terror (2-6-3, 1-4 CC) with 11 saves in goal.
After Richardson knocked home a ball off a McDaniel defender in the third minute, Rosalin Savoie went top shelf in the 42nd minute to stretch the lead to 2-0 at the break.
Genevieve Olson played a ball left to Savoie, who rocketed home a shot from the top of the box.
Casey Reilly set the final margin in the 71st minute.
The Green Terror returns to action at home against Ursinus on Friday. Game time is 12:30 p.m.
