The Centennial Conference is celebrating 25 years as one of the elite small college athletic conferences in the country with the announcement of its Silver Anniversary teams. Among those honorees was the Green Terror’s Charlie Conaway, Vinny Pedalino, Chris McNally, Drew Reinecker, Dan Patterson, Tony Howard, Brock Glotfelty and Ryan O’Boyle.
McDaniel College has announced its Dean’s List from the Spring 2018 semester and 132 Green Terror student-athletes. Eleven Green Terror student-athletes were also named to the department’s Green and Gold Honor Roll this past semester.
At the annual award ceremonies that McDaniel College holds each spring, 25 Green Terror student-athletes were among the honorees. On Apr. 29, the College recognized more than 30 undergraduate students at the annual Spring Awards Ceremony. On May 18, the College held its annual Senior Investiture and Honors Convocation, where 41 academic and activity/leadership awards were given to graduating seniors.
McDaniel College has announced its Dean’s List from the Fall 2017 semester and 129 Green Terror student-athletes, including 37 first-semester students, qualified for the honors. In addition, six student-athletes were named to the Green and Gold Honor Roll.
Cole Nagle led the Green Terror with one of those falls, notching a 4-minute, 13-second pin at 157. McDaniel recorded a pair of pins in the first five bouts to open up a 16-9 lead en route to a 34-12 victory over Greensboro.
Ryker Eckenbarger recorded a pair of pins as part of a 3-0 outing to lead the Green Terror, who defeated Penn State-Mont Alto 59-0 and UMBC 43-7 before falling to Scranton 33-9 to close the day at the Green Terror Duals.
Syd Knadler, a senior, was named the Centennial Conference Scholar-Athlete of the Year in women's swimming. Knadler was one of 24 Green Terror winter student-athletes named to the CC Winter Academic Honor Roll.
