THE SKINNY STORY
McDaniel had a pair of placewinners, finishing eighth at the 2019 Centennial Conference championship hosted by Merchant Marine Academy. The Green Terror had 18 points. Stevens won the title for the fifth straight year with 83 points.

THE LEADERS
• Ryker Eckenbarger (Finksburg, Md./Westminster) led the Green Terror with a third-place finish at 133. He opened his day as the third seed and topped Muhlenberg's Josh Hickey 11-3 before falling 6-3 to second-seeded Yoseph Borai in the semifinals. In the consolation bracket, Eckenbarger won over Russell Zimmerman (Washington and Lee) with a second major decision 18-6 before topping Hickey again in the third-place bout, 9-2.
• At 157, Wade Bishop (Greensboro, Md./North Caroline) placed fourth, going 2-2 on the day. Drawing the No. 2 seed, Dominick Reyes won by fall in 3:28 in the opening round. Bishop then recorded a fall of his own in the first match of the consolation bracket, taking down Ray Martin (Gettysburg) in 5:33. Bishop then defeated Merchant Marine's Kieran Duggan, 11-8. In the third-place bout, Washington and Lee's Joe Salerno prevailed 25 seconds into the second period with a pin.

FOR THE FOES
• Collin Wickramaratna led the Bears with a 13-4 major decision at 125.
• William McGinley wrapped up the match with a 5-0 win at heavyweight.

THE REST OF THE STORY
Isaiah Edmond (Waldorf, Md./North Point) added one win at 141. He dropped a 4-0 decision to Zach Bylykbashi (W&L) in the opening round before topping Kyle Seibert (Ursinus) by fall in 2:03 and was then pinned in 2:48 by Muhlenberg's Austin Sherman.
Cole Nagle (Highland Lakes, N.J./Vernon Twp.) also went 1-2 at 165. Shane Conners pinned Nagle in 1:32 to open the day before Nagle recorded a 1-minute, 36-second fall of Stephen Friedman (Stevens). Zachary Goranson used a 7-5 win in sudden victory to defeat Nagle and advance to the third-place match.
Ethan Wolf dropped a 7-0 decision to second-seeded and eventual champion Paul Triandafilou (Gettysburg) to open action at heavyweight. In the consolation bracket, Wolf won 2-0 over Joseph Moreno (Stevens) before falling 3-1 to William McGinley (Ursinus).
