New York University, ranked 18th, recorded eight pins to top McDaniel 54-0 in the finale of the Mid-Winter Classic.

Ryker Eckenbarger (Finksburg, Md./Westminster) led the Green Terror, falling just 3-2 to William Crisco at 133.

FOR THE FOES
• Jacob Lill recorded a 54-second fall at heavyweight to lead the Violets.
• John DeStefano opened the match with a 52-second fall.

• After the John DeStefano 52-second fall, William Crisco edged out a 3-2 win at 133.
• Evan Drill (141) recorded a 1-minute, 11-second fall before Sean Lyons (149) and Liam Drury (157) added pins of their own.
• Kade Steck-Loughney (165) and Scott Dupont (174) made it five straight falls to secure the match.
• Jackson Kligerman won 5-1 at 184 before Jack La Corte and Jacob Lill rounded out the match with falls.
