THE SKINNY STORY
McDaniel won the final nine bouts to open the Mid-Winter Classic with a 47-4 win over King's.

THE LEADERS
Jaime Rodriguez (Westminster, Md./Westminster) recorded one of three pins to lead the Green Terror. His fall came in 4:20 at 197.
Wade Bishop (Greensboro, Md./North Caroline) notched a 4-minute, 27-second fall at 157.
• Cole Nagle (Highlands Lakes, N.J./Vernon Twp.) made it back-to-back pins with a 3-minute, 4-second fall at 165.

FOR THE FOES
• Dakota Quick notched the lone win for the Monarchs, winning 13-2 at 125.

THE REST OF THE STORY
• After Dakota Quick staked King's to a 4-0 lead, Ryker Eckenbarger (Finksburg, Md./Westminster) followed with a forfeit win to give McDaniel the lead for good.
Isaiah Edmond (Waldorf, Md./North Point) stretched the lead to 9-4 with an 11-4 win at 141 before Skyler Minutelli (Sparrows Point, Md./Sparrows Point) added a 13-2 win for a 13-4 advantage in the match.
• After the back-to-back pins by Wade Bishop and Cole Nagle made it a 25-4 match, Garrett Vandervalk (Westminster, Md./Westminster) won 15-6 at 174.
Ronnie Wuest (Smyrna, Del./Smyrna) and Chris Hauffman (Westminster, Md./Westminster) added forfeit wins around the Jaime Rodriguez pin for the final margin.
